Topman is my number one choice because the clothes are not only amazing, but in every item it is easy to see the European influence–from funnel collar trench coats to low wingtip Oxford shoes. Although Topman is somewhat expensive–prices range from $20 to $400, the clothes are definitely worth it.
2. The Tie Bar
I was introduced to The Tie Bar after reading about it in GQ. I was really impressed by the quality and prices of the ties. Not only are the ties made with the finest materials such as wool and silk, but they are at very reasonable prices–ties are around $15. The tie bar is definitely a place worth shopping.
Cladmen is one of my favorite men’s shopping websites. Partnered with Esquire Magazine, Cladmen has clothes that are not only popular in men’s fashion, but are made by many of the top designers in the world, from John Varvatos to Billy Reid. Even though the clothes are not cheap, they are of very good quality, so it is definitely worth the money. However, when you buy from Cladmen be sure to check the size chart and the clothing details because some of the clothes have a European cut and may be bigger than normal. In spite of this, Cladmen is definitely a great place to shop. They even send your clothes to you neatly wrapped in tissue paper, inside of a sleek satin box–even the recipt had its own satin pouch.
4. Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters is definitely one of the best stores you can shop at. The clothes are really cool; they come from a variety of designers, who incorporate their creativity into each design. As for the quality of the clothes, well, it is pretty good. Do not get me wrong, it can definitely be improved, but for the most part the quality of the clothes are good. What I love about Urban Outfitters is the vintage appeal of the clothes–it pushes me to get even more creative with my outfits.
Piperlime is one of the best websites for men to get a variety of designer shoes, watches, clothing, and accessories. Not to mention, you might find some of your favorite brands such as Cole Haan, selling for less than the original price. Though, you may find some great deals on Piperlime, a majority of their stuff is somewhat pricey–things can go as high as $500.
6. Banana Republic
I love Banana Republic; the clothes are not only made of superior quality such as Italian merino wool and cashmere, but they also bring both style and sophistication to any outfit. The clothes may cost a little more than major chains, but they are worth every penny.
7. Smart Turnout
Smart Turnout is another one of my favorite stores to shop for preppy attire. What I like the most about this store is the way Smart Turnout incorporate its British style into their clothing. Using an array of colors and patterns, Smart Turnout effectively makes clothing that you want to buy. And although the clothes are a little expensive, they are made with superior quality fabrics and great detail. In short, Smart Turnout is definitely worth every penny.
ASOS is a really good store to shop. For me ASOS is the European Urban Outfitters. What I love the most about ASOS is its vast selection of clothes, from labels such as Barbour and Shades of Grey. As for prices, they can range from $32 to over $300. In spite of this, ASOS is definitely a great place to shop for all of the latest fashion.
I recommend YesStyle to men who love Asian fashion. Not only does YesStyle have good quality clothing that are unique, but the clothes are at reasonable prices. However, when ordering from YesStyle, be sure to check the size chart because Asian sizing may not be the same as other places. For example, if you wear a size small in U.S. stores, you will have to get a medium from YesStyle.
I love Express, the clothes are not only well made, but they have a broad selection to choose from. In addition, the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of the clothes–from 100% silk ties for about $40 to coats under $300. Express is definitely a great place to go.
